    Garden Homes in Georgetown Texas
    by Wally Wilson

There are many garden homes available to buy and rent within Georgetown, Texas. Both these homes, and the location itself have many benefits to offer residents. I think the major selling point of most homes in Georgetown is the city itself. Not only do you get great transport links, you also get an extremely prosperous place to live.

Downtown Georgetown has one of the best preserved historic districts, and has recently experienced a great deal of restoration work mainly based around the Main Street program, as well as private restoration of some of the cities older homes. These offer a great sense of character, however there are literally hundreds of newly built developments to choose from as well.

Many of the garden home communities offer excellent facilities, including state of the art swimming centers, gold clubs, equestrian centers and many more. These communities are highly regarded because of their quietness - if you are tired of being in a city where you are constantly bombarded with noise from all night clubs, house parties and bars, then a garden home in Georgetown really will feel like a breath of fresh air.

You'll notice that the prices are exceptionally good value, especially for the amount of space that you will get for your dollar. You will enjoy some of the most generous floorplans available in Texas, if not the country as a whole. And of course, because Georgetown still holds onto that 'small town community' feeling, you can be sure of a smile and a warm welcome from all the residents. This must be one of the friendliest places to live.

And remember, this area is served by the excellent Georgetown Independent School District, which is highly regarded for the quality of teaching on offer, as well as the polite and friendly attitude of the students. Add to this the gorgeous scenery of rolling hills and almost endless skies, to make living in a garden home in Georgetown feel like a little piece of paradise.
